The exhibition documents what happens in the Storting in connection with a parliamentary election, and the transition from one Storting to the next.
“The transition between one parliament and the next demonstrates many of the important values in our political culture. It’s the fundamental respect for the voice of the people and for our political system. This isn’t a given in the world we live in, but something we must protect and nurture; something we should be proud of showing off,” says Masud Gharahkhani, President of the Storting.
Here is a selection of the exhibition’s photographs. All the photos, along with several more from the transition are available in the Storting's media archive.
