Oslo Culture Night in the Storting

Visit the Storting for Oslo Culture Night on Friday 16th September 2022. We’ve got an exciting programme on offer, with all sorts of activities for both young and old.

This Friday, 16th September, we’re opening our doors from 18.00 to 22.30. You’ll be able to visit the Main Chamber, view our art collection, and find out more about how the Storting works.

  • Exhibition of political caricatures and cartoons
  • Exhibitions about the Norwegian Constitution and the Storting
  • Films
  • Find out more about the work and responsibilities of the Storting
  • View the Storting’s extensive art collection

Short lectures (Norwegian only):

 
  • 19.30: The Art of Politics – a short lecture about the Storting’s art collection by Eivind Torkjelsson (Storting administration)
  • 20.00: The decriminalization of homosexuality – 50 years without section 213 of the Norwegian Penal Code – a short lecture by Egil Borlaug (Storting administration)
